Humanoid Robot In Testing
The Humanoid Robot project is now in active testing. Jetson Orin Nano core, 11 facial servos, and face tracking built to simulate expressive emotional responses.
Humanoid Robot Testing Phase
The Humanoid Robot project has moved into active testing.
The build centers on a Jetson Orin Nano running face tracking and emotion recognition, driving 11 PWM-controlled 9g facial servos that map detected emotional states to physical expressions. The goal is autonomous, realistic emotional response not scripted animations.
Specs
- Core Jetson Orin Nano
- Actuation 11 × 9g PWM servos across the face
- Modules Face tracking, emotion recognition
- Control Custom servo mapping from detected emotional state
Current Focus
Testing is targeting servo range calibration, latency between detection and expression, and stability under varied lighting conditions. The mechanical design is complete; the work right now is software and tuning.
This is one of the higher-DBE projects on the board rated DB892-W@5-E for complexity, physical risk, and expense.
